Shine for Parkinson's

Together, We Make a Difference

Parkinson's Disease (PD) is a progressive disorder of the system that affects movement.
It develops often, starting with barely noticeable tremors in just one hand. As the disease progresses, it causes stiffness or slowing of movement, making simple tasks such as walking or talking difficult.
PD is caused by the loss of dopamine, a messenger that helps control movement.
While there are no treatments for PD, treatments are available that help manage symptoms and quality of life.
Do you want to help contribute to the development of PD?
Do you want to learn more about the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for PD?
Do you want to make a difference?
That's what Shine for Parkinson's are for!
